ACH Foam Technologies Expands Into Southeast Market with Acquisition of Allied Foam Products
DENVER, CO—ACH Foam Technologies, a leading manufacturer of versatile expanded polystyrene (EPS) products, announced today its acquisition of Allied Foam Products of Gainesville, Georgia. This acquisition expands growth opportunities for ACH in one of the largest markets in the United States.

According to Frank Kiesecker, Vice President of Sales & Marketing, “ACH is positioned to develop regional and national supply agreements in the construction and industrial markets. The Allied acquisition will expand growth opportunities in the construction, packaging and O.E.M. markets in the Southeast.”

This transaction occurs just one year after three multi-plant, pioneering companies in the EPS industry—Advance Foam Plastics (AFP) in the Western US, Contour Products (CPI) and Heartland EPS (HEPS) in the Midwest and Central US, merged to create ACH Foam Technologies. The ACH merger combined decades of industry experience along with the most complete EPS product offering found in the US.

According to ACH Chief Executive Ted Dann,” Allied and ACH have shared a long history of working together as partners in AFM (Associated Foam Manufacturers) to develop such products as R-control Building Panel Systems, Perform Guard treatment for EPS products used as a termite deterrent, and Geofoam systems for soil stabilization applications.”

Jim Clark, Founder of Allied Foam Products, will continue with ACH as an integral component of the Gainesville operation. “ACH is pleased to have Jim as well as his experienced workforce,” said Ted Dann. “Our collective knowledge and expertise in marketing and manufacturing will be beneficial to all of our customers in the Southeast.”

According to Jim Clark, “ACH brings a lot of additional product opportunities to the Southeast with their shape molding, film and garage door laminating capabilities. They are in so many markets across the country that they have developed expertise and manufacturing capabilities in about every EPS product that I am familiar with.”

ACH Foam Technologies now has manufacturing facilities in the following locations:

    • Denver, Colorado (headquarters)
    • Southern California (Tijuana, Mexico)
    • Sparks, Nevada
